Airswift is recruiting a Finance Manager for a permanent contract with a client in the clean energy and industrial technology sector to work in São Paulo, SP.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall financial management of the plant subsidiary, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow planning, and internal controls.
  • Support the construction and operational ramp-up of the local factory, including investment planning, cost control, CAPEX/OPEX tracking, and financial processes setup.
  • Oversee all tax-related matters, ensuring full compliance with Brazilian federal, state, and municipal tax regulations (including ICMS, IPI, PIS/COFINS, withholding taxes, and transfer pricing).
  • Establish and optimize financial procedures for manufacturing operations, including inventory management, cost accounting, and production-related financial controls.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, operations, HR, legal) to ensure accurate financial support during project execution and ongoing operations.
  • Manage relationships with local banks, auditors, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; professional certifications are a plus.
  • Strong and in-depth understanding of Brazilian taxation, including direct and indirect taxes and tax incentives applicable to industrial operations.
  • Proven experience supporting factory construction, commissioning, or manufacturing operations, preferably in a multinational or industrial company.
  • Solid knowledge of Brazilian GAAP, IFRS, and financial compliance requirements.
  • 8+ years of experience in financial management roles,
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English, Chinese is plus; ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
