Our client, a major Oil and gas company, is looking for a Fitness Specialist to work on a short term contract in Pascagoula, MS
The main function of a fitness specialist is to promote healthy lifestyle through exercise and health promotion, working with employee population.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the deployment of health and fitness programs for employee population.
- Provides customer support by assisting employees and fitness center members with fitness programs and wellness consultations.
Provides wellness center supervision, interacts with members and program
participants, monitors equipment and participant safety.- Conducts fitness testing and assessments.
- Provide individual and group exercise instruction. Designs individualized programs to meet member interests, abilities, and goals.
- Supports member enrollment and associated administrative duties.
Requirements:
- Degree in a related field 0-2 years of experience.
- Current First Aid and CPR/AED certifications are required.
- Industry recognized certification.
