Our client is seeking a highly skilled Flowline & Subsea Structures Lead to drive the engineering and design of offshore amd IRF pipeline systems from FEED stage up to Operation. The role is to support a major conventional gas & condensates field in the Caspian sea.
Role Overview
- Lead the design of onshore and offshore pipeline systems in compliance with contract specifications and international standards.
- Oversee the quality of offshore and URF pipeline systems from FEED to operation, ensuring adherence to local content requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical issues throughout all phases of offshore and URF pipeline activities.
- Review and approve detailed engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, construction, installation, and pre-commissioning documents.
- Manage interfaces with other package managers to ensure coherence of offshore and URF pipeline systems.
- Ensure engineering activities align with contract requirements, project specifications, schedule, and budget.
- Participate in technical reviews and implement recommendations as necessary.
- Liaise with QHSES and QAQC teams to ensure safety, operability, and maintainability of designs.
- Monitor contractor performance and assist in managing change order requests.
- Initiate and attend engineering meetings to facilitate resolution of outstanding issues.
- Assist with the application process for required authorities' approvals.
- Develop constructive relationships with contractors to maximize project value.
- Control and approve specifications, requisitions, design procedures, and relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and company HSE standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Expertise in subsea engineering and offshore structural design during FEED preparation, execution, EPC tender and EPC phase.
- Deep involvement with FEED scope of work preparation until sanction.
- Strong knowledge of project engineering practices, international codes, standards, and specifications.
- Ability to manage major oil and gas project developments effectively.
- Proficient in identifying best practices in the industry and promoting knowledge sharing.
- Familiarity with applicable regulations, codes, and standards.
Education & Experience
- Qualification: Expert level in relevant engineering discipline.
- Languages: Proficient in English.
