A leader in Shipping and Logistics company is currently expanding and looking for highly qualified candidates for the Group Accountant position based in Singapore.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for group consolidation of financial statements across multiple subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Support finance due diligence and assist in evaluating accounting impacts of acquisitions, mergers, and divestments.
- Support audits and compliance, working closely with external auditors and ensuring statutory requirements are met.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across regional finance teams and FP&A to align consolidated results with budgets and forecasts.
- Drive process improvements, enhancing consolidation systems, templates, and reporting efficiency.
- Provide performance insights to management, highlighting the financial impact of ongoing M&A activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
- 5 years of experience in group consolidation, with exposure to M&A transactions.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and consolidation principles.
