Health & Safety Advisor
Location: Dar Es Saalam, Tanzania
Contract: Until December 31st 2026 (renewable)
Rotation / Set up: 8 weeks on / 2 weeks off (Monday to Saturday)
Expected starting date: April 2026

Role Overview
- Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees on-site.
- Provide guidance on construction safety practices and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety into project planning and execution.
- Monitor and report on safety performance metrics.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Safety & Health Education & Training: Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
- General Safety & Health Compliance: Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Construction Safety: Expertise in safety practices specific to the construction industry.
Education & Experience
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
- Certifications: NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety certification is advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in health and safety roles, particularly in construction.
