Position: Electrical Engineer (Nightshift) – Hull & Marine Electrical Construction Team


Location: Turkey (Onshore Scope)


Rotation:

4 weeks on/ 4 weeks off


Project: Sakarya Field (Previous experience on this project is advantageous)



Project Overview:


The Hull & Marine Electrical Construction Team is responsible for electrical systems installation, testing, and integration for hull and marine components during topside construction.

Role Purpose:


The H&M Electrical Engineer will oversee and coordinate all electrical construction activities during night operations for hull and marine systems. This includes supervising installation, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and maintaining safety and quality standards during nightshift execution.



Key Responsibilities:

Nightshift Supervision:

  • Manage and monitor electrical installation activities during nightshift operations.
  • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and international standards.

Technical Support:

  • Provide engineering guidance for electrical systems, including cable routing, terminations, and equipment installation.
  • Resolve technical queries (TQs) and liaise with dayshift engineers for continuity.

Quality & Safety Compliance:

  • Enforce HSE standards and electrical safety regulations during nightshift work.
  • Participate in inspections and ensure proper documentation of electrical works.

Coordination:

  • Interface with QA/QC, construction, and commissioning teams to maintain progress and quality.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for timely execution.

Reporting:

  • Prepare nightshift progress reports and handover notes for dayshift teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of installation and testing activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8+ years experience in electrical construction within oil & gas or offshore energy projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems for hull and marine applications.
  • Familiarity with international codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, API).
  • Experience in onshore topside integration and marine systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
