Airswift is seeking a HSE Client Vessel Representative (CVR) to join our client’s team (Oil & Gas company) in Trinidad and Tobago, Brazil.
This position will play a key role in providing assurance and oversight of offshore operations, ensuring safety leadership, and compliance with international standards.

Only candidates currently based in Trinidad & Tobago will be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the focal point on contractor vessels to provide assurance and oversight of operations.
  • Spend 75% of the shift engaged with ongoing work on site, prioritizing field activities over office tasks.
  • Serve as site safety leader, embedding safety leadership and human performance principles.
  • Promote a culture of care and transparent reporting of safety issues.
  • Verify safe execution of work, including control of work, risk management, and toolbox talks.
  • Collaborate with contractor and HSE teams to track and improve safety performance.
  • Ensure all emergencies, incidents, and uncontrolled events are reported and investigated.
  • Monitor procedural discipline and facilitate issue and acceptance of ISSOW WCC.
  • Conduct oversight on contractor’s self-verification process and confirm risk barriers.
  • Ensure environmental permits and consents match approved procedures.
  • Implement management of change procedures and evaluate environmental impacts.
  • Prepare daily progress reports and end-of-trip close-out reports.
  • Capture and share lessons learned and approve contractor reports.
  • Represent the company in incident investigations and contractor meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and international regulations for integrity and quality.

Requirements

  • Strong offshore operational experience with safety leadership responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with risk management, control of work systems, and HSE principles.
  • Ability to oversee contractor activities without directly directing work.
  • Knowledge of environmental permits, consents, and management of change processes.
  • Understanding of international standards and company practices for construction quality.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high safety standards.
  • Willingness to travel and work offshore as required.
