    Position Overview

    This position will become part of a Project HSE Team, working to develop, implement, and monitor the safety management system on a (Carbon Capture) Project and future assignments. The purpose of this role is to ensure robust delivery of HSE objectives across complex projects while supporting internal compliance, advancing risk management practices, and contributing to emergency preparedness.     Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of the project safety management system, ensuring alignment with both contractual and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractor management, including supplier document register oversight and evaluation.
  • Lead and facilitate HSE readiness reviews as well as risk management processes within the project framework.
  • Administer HSE contracts and drive compliance with defined requirements.
  • Plan and conduct internal HSE audits to maintain safety system effectiveness.
  • Lead investigations into incidents and maintain a coordinated country emergency response team.
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree-level qualification and an HSE qualification such as NEBOSH.
  • Proven experience with an IMCA contractor.
  • Certifications in auditing and investigation.
  • Strong familiarity with IOGP and IMCA standards.

  • Ability to manage and coordinate cross-functional HSE activities within large-scale engineering projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership in risk management and incident investigation.
  • Effective planning, communication, and collaborative problem-solving abilities.
