Job Title: HSE Superintendent – Upstream Construction
Contract Type: Rotational Contract
Role Overview:
The HSE Superintendent is responsible for overseeing health, safety, and environmental activities during onshore and nearshore construction and installation works. The role involves managing HSE performance, ensuring compliance with project HSE plans, and leading engagement with contractors to promote an incident-free culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and oversee HSE aspects of onshore and nearshore activities.
- Support project teams and contractors in implementing HSE systems and processes.
- Lead HSE engagement with contractors and subcontractors.
- Manage a team of HSE Supervisors and coordinate HSE activities.
- Participate in audits, safety studies, and incident investigations.
- Ensure accurate HSE reporting and support assurance activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry with HSE focus.
- Recognised HSE qualification (NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for coaching and mentoring.
- Experience in incident investigation and HSE audits.
- Current BOSIET and OGUK Medical certification.
- Fluency in English.
