Role Overview
- Conduct daily inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas to identify hazards.
- Perform audits to assess compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
- Evaluate workplace risks and collaborate with teams to implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve safety measures.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, assessments, and incidents.
- Prepare comprehensive reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Educate employees about health and safety standards.
- Encourage training on safety procedures and regulations.
- Investigate workplace accidents to determine causes.
- Recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Ensure the implementation and monitoring of the Prevention Plan (Plan de Prévention - PDP) for all relevant activities and contractors, in accordance with legal and company requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Audit: Proficient in conducting thorough audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
- Plant HSE: Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental practices within plant operations.
- Risk Management: Ability to evaluate risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for identifying potential hazards in the workplace.
- Effective Communication: Strong skills for training employees and reporting findings.
- Problem-Solving: Capable of developing practical solutions for safety issues.
Education & Experience
- A degree or certification in occupational health, safety, or environmental management is required.
- Familiarity with industry-specific safety standards (e.g., Oil & Gas or hazardous materials) is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of safety equipment and risk management practices is essential.
