ICSS Engineer – AGUP Phase 2
Core Qualifications
- Education: Engineering diploma or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Proven track record in Instrumentation and ICSS roles on middle to large-scale onshore upstream projects.
- Experience across FEED and EPC phases on at least 2–3 projects.
- Familiarity with TotalEnergies standards is a plus.
- Strong background in crude oil processing, well pad development, and ICSS design.
Technical Skills
- Deep understanding of international norms and standards, and ability to apply company specifications.
- Ability to lead and coordinate across disciplines, including instrumentation, telecommunications, and vendor management.
- Skilled in reviewing technical documentation, managing MDRs, and ensuring quality control.
- Experience with tender assessments, technical queries, and project interface management.
Soft Skills & Languages
- Fluent English (spoken and written) – mandatory.
- Arabic (spoken/written) and French (spoken) – desirable.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, especially in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
Work Conditions
- Location: UK-based (residential).
- Travel: Occasional 10-day missions to Iraq.
- Contract Duration: 2 years, non-renewable.
Project Context
- The role supports the Associated Gas Upstream Project (AGUP), part of the Growth Gas Integrated Project (GGIP) in Iraq.
- Candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-track, complex environment with interface challenges, brownfield uncertainties, and cross-project coordination.
