Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Instrument and Electrical Technician II to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems for production equipment. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, supports operational integrity, and contributes to reliable plant performance. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in oil and gas facilities, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a field-based environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain electrical and instrument equipment in compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Plan and oversee maintenance activities with a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Support collaboration between operations, engineering, and project teams.
  • Review control specifications and work practices; ensure timely completion of scheduled work.
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical and control systems.
  • Generate and follow up on Management of Change (MOC) requests for electrical/control equipment.
  • Inspect new installations for compliance and recommend upgrades as needed.
  • Act as a stand-in for the Instrument and Electrical Lead when required.

Basic / Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent technical training (preferred).
  • Experience maintaining electrical systems and instrumentation in processing or offshore production plants.
  • Familiarity with oil and gas facility regulations and OIMS systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and apply safe work practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Computing skills and ability to work with technical documentation.
  • Safety-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
  • Good reporting and team coordination skills.
