Join our dynamic team as an Instrumentation and Controls Lead Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions for the Oil & Gas industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work in Rotterdam, Netherlands, on a full-time contract basis, contributing to projects that prioritize reliability, cost-effectiveness, and safety.

Role Overview

  • Selection of methods and procedures, ensuring performance of work and optimization of design within discipline scope.
  • Proactively planning and completing discipline activities and deliverables within agreed time frames and budgets.
  • Defining and managing discipline resource needs for the project.
  • Ensuring delivery of the discipline Scope of Work in accordance with contractual and internal requirements.
  • Capturing lessons learned and understanding change impacts across project system boundaries.
  • Managing discipline interfaces with third parties including clients, subcontractors, vendors, classification societies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Acting as Principal for assigned scope of work or designated as a Technical Expert (TE) and/or Engineering Method Authority.

Skills & Qualifications

  • A&D expertise.
  • ICSS knowledge (optional).
  • Instrumentation proficiency.
  • Engineering design and calculation tools experience.
  • Detailed design capabilities.
  • Systems engineering skills.
  • Package engineering and manufacturing knowledge.
  • Site engineering experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Planning expertise.

Education & Experience

  • Engineer Diploma in relevant discipline.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
