Instrumentation Engineer
Job Purpose
Perform Instrumentation engineering activities for the Projects Engineering Support division to execute key activities, ensuring that all activities comply with standardized processes and are delivered to the highest standards.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Ensure Instrumentation engineering activities comply with regulatory requirements, project specifications, and approved variations.
- Resolve engineering issues and communicate with the Project Execution Team; escalate when necessary.
- Develop, update, and amend policies and procedures related to Projects Management in consultation with the Head of Projects Engineering Support.
- Support external organizations and representatives to ensure engineering design meets company and project objectives.
- Evaluate complex tasks and provide recommendations to management; support other disciplines and multi-disciplinary tasks.
- Uphold Project Philosophies and Procedures in specification, design, and procurement of I&C items.
- Ensure compliance with company systems and processes, including the Project Management System (PMS); prepare plans and schedules for effective project completion.
- Monitor and guide FEED, EPC Contractors, and 3rd Party Services throughout project phases; ensure facilities meet standards, scope, schedule, and cost.
- Support complex analyses and assignments, providing expertise to ensure timely completion.
Qualifications (Mandatory)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Knowledge and Experience
- 4 years’ experience in area of specialization within oil and gas industry, including 2 years in a project management team role.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
