Join our dynamic team as an Instrumentation Package Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in the Net Zero Teesside project. Role Overview
- Evaluation of vendor offers to ensure optimal selection.
- Participation in clarification meetings (internal/vendor/client) and HAZOP/SIL reviews for project clarity.
- Follow-up on vendor and their technical documentation to maintain project integrity.
- Integration of packages into the plant design while coordinating with other disciplines.
- Management of Package & ICSS interfaces for all project packages to ensure seamless operation.
- Factory testing of equipment, both in France and abroad, to validate performance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Mastery of instrumentation integration in packages (P&ID, instrument lists, I/Os, installation constraints, functional analysis, alarm rationalization).
- Expertise in instrumentation equipment (valves, transmitters, analyzers, fire & gas) and control/safety systems.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable codes (API, IEC, ISO).
- Strong autonomy and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite and Acrobat.
Education & Experience
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in instrumentation or engineering are advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in instrumentation package engineering or related roles.
