Our client is recruiting for an Interface Engineer for a UK based CCUS project, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting project technical alignment and communication with key stakeholders. Role will be based in the London office, with UK site visits as required.
Role Overview
- Support the Interface Technical Manager by collecting and integrating technical inputs from Engineering, Work Package Management, Project Controls, and other relevant teams.
- Prepare, coordinate, and review technical reports, presentations, and documentation for submission to external stakeholders.
- Critically assess incoming technical information and propose clear representations to support stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborate with the CCS business unit and HQ to ensure effective communication of technical content.
- Assist in developing and maintaining an updated interface map and tracking register of project dependencies.
- Facilitate communication flow between project teams for timely information exchange.
- Support the preparation and management of all technical documentation required by Ofgem.
- Contribute to early identification of technical risks and inconsistencies.
- Participate in technical meetings to clarify content and resolve discrepancies.
- Support the preparation and update of technical reports, registers, and interface documentation.
Skills & Qualifications
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile project management principles.
- Project Engineering: Experience in project engineering or technical support roles.
- Package Management: Proficient in managing project packages and interfaces.
- Technical Reporting: Strong skills in preparing and managing technical documentation.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of UK regulatory frameworks, particularly Ofgem processes.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (preferably in Oil & Gas, Energy, or similar disciplines).
- 3–6 years of experience in project engineering or technical support roles.
