IT Asset Management Specialist

Responsabilities:
Maintain and develop our tools to record ITAM information (IT Software and Hardware Asset Management)
Make sure an accurate inventory of all IT assets is in place, ensuring records are up-to-date.
Optimize, rationalize and where possible, globalize the number of tools and licenses worldwide : analyze asset data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for optimization.
Understand the complete lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement through to disposal.
Understand suppliers' contract and agreement reviews
Help the IT team for the renewal of applications/licenses and their budgets
Share knowledge within the team, but also the department and the whole company building strong relationships
Collaborate with business stakeholders and prioritize workload
Understand and follow department documentation (policies, working procedures, work instructions and forms, KPI)
Monitor risks associated with IT assets.
Help to conduct audits to verify asset locations, conditions, and configurations. Support internal and external audit activities
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field is required.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and SAM (Software Asset Management) are preferred.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and external vendors
Minimum Experience: minimum 2 years of experience in IT asset management, IT operations, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Strong technical background with experience in IT asset management processes and tools.
Management Experience: Proven experience in managing IT assets, including hardware, software, licenses, and contracts.
IT Service Management: Experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and methodologies such as ITIL.
Reporting and Analysis: Experience in using IT asset management tools to monitor, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to IT assets.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation or Software Asset Manager (CSAM) are preferred.
