Job Title: KDB Developer
Duration: Initial 1 year contract

Setup: Contract inside ir35 through umbrella
Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite weekly
Join our client’s global trading technology team to build and optimise a high-performance kdb+ data platform supporting algorithmic and market data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable kdb+ solutions for global trading teams.
- Develop low-latency systems for market data capture and analytics.
- Collaborate with quant teams, business sponsors, and tech stakeholders.
- Contribute to the technical direction of the kdb+ product suite.
- Translate complex business requirements into robust software designs.
Must-Have Skills:
- Extensive experience with kdb+/q and large-scale system design.
- Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals and modern development practices.
- Unix/Linux development experience.
- Core Java development skills.
- Expertise in low-latency systems and tick data capture.
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with market data and algorithmic trading environments.
- Experience with financial instruments such as Equities, Futures, Options, and FX.
