Airswift is seeking a motivated and skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team on a rotational shift basis.
This role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings and late evenings, to ensure seamless laboratory operations. Candidates with 10+ years of relevant laboratory experience will be considered in lieu of a degree, though a degree in a scientific field is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine laboratory tests and experiments following established protocols.
Prepare and analyze samples, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments.
Document all processes, results, and observations in compliance with regulatory standards.
Follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills.
Requirements:
Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related discipline OR 10+ years of equivalent laboratory experience.
Previous laboratory experience strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
