Job Description
The Lead Cost Manager is responsible for overseeing all cost-related activities across multiple projects, ensuring financial targets and budgets are consistently met. This role provides strategic financial leadership and insights to enhance cost efficiency and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cost control functions across various projects, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis to support project delivery within approved budgets.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, finance teams, and senior leadership to provide financial guidance and drive cost optimization.
- Monitor project expenditures, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Support the development and implementation of cost management tools and reporting systems.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, PMP, CCE, or AACE are considered an advantage.
- 7–10 years of experience in cost control, with at least 3 years in a lead role
- Prior experience in FPSO project
