Join our dynamic team as a Lead Electrical Engineer and play a pivotal role in the Oil & Gas industry! This is an exciting opportunity to manage electrical engineering activities for a major project in the UK, ensuring compliance with industry standards while collaborating with a diverse team of professionals.

Role Overview

  • Oversee the electrical detailed engineering activities carried out by the CPF-2 EPSCC Contractor, ensuring alignment with the approved Scope of Requirements (SOR) and adherence to Company standards.
  • Coordinate and manage support from Company headquarters as needed to facilitate engineering progress.
  • Ensure that the procurement of electrical equipment is consistent with the Project’s technical and strategic objectives.
  • Provide regular updates to the Engineering Manager regarding discipline progress, challenges, and key concerns.
  • Support the Engineering Manager in reviewing change orders, identifying planning constraints, and other related tasks.
  • Collaborate with Safety, QA, Construction, Operations, and Commissioning teams to address electrical engineering matters effectively.
  • Adhere to HSE requirements and actively promote and enforce the Project’s HSE objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Electrical expertise in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Knowledge of international codes and standards related to Electrical discipline (optional).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience as an electrical specialist in the Oil & Gas industry, managing projects through all life-cycle stages.
  • At least 10 years of experience in middle/large scale upstream projects in an Electrical Engineer role.
