Position Title: Logistics Advisor (B2B)


Position Objective

The Logistics Advisor supports the delivery of the APF Tie-in Project by ensuring all logistics and supply chain activities meet objectives, constraints, and quality requirements. Responsibilities include planning and readiness of supply chain/logistics activities, route identification, maintenance assessments, transportation coordination, and integration with Santos business needs. Site-based in Papua New Guinea starting 1Q26.


Key Accountabilities

  • Integrate logistics requirements into project scope, plans, cost estimates, and risk profiles.
  • Manage and execute Logistics and Materials Management plans.
  • Lead movement and tracking of free-issued materials for Pipeline, Facilities, and Camps.
  • Support contractor management (pre-qualification, tendering, evaluations, approvals).
  • Align stakeholders with Logistics Strategies and Plans.
  • Manage logistics financials and cost-efficiency.
  • Handle logistics-related risk management and stakeholder engagement.

Additional:

  • Identify synergies with co-venture partners.
  • Maintain strong relationships with service providers.
  • Foster local community contracting participation.
  • Address communication gaps and misalignment.
  • Explore cross-functional risk management opportunities.

Professional Experience

  • 10–15+ years in in-country logistics for major infrastructure projects in remote locations.
  • Recent PNG-specific experience essential.
  • Experience in Detailed Design and Execution phases.
  • Brownfield hydrocarbon and gas pipeline projects experience.
  • Ability to work remote rotational assignments.

Technical Competencies

  • Familiarity with PNG community-based contracting groups.
  • Strong commercial acumen and business judgment.

  • Ability to simplify complex technical challenges.

Qualifications
