Airswift is seeking a Logistics Operator / Sling Controller to join our client’s team (O&G Equipment & Services company) in Suriname.
This position will play a key role in performing loading and unloading operations, controlling stock in the yard, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Control pipe stock in the yard and prepare loads with wooden separators.
- Perform truck loading and unloading activities safely and efficiently.
- Update tracking systems and maintain accurate records.
- Issue packing lists and certificates for pipe dispatches.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Maintain product quality and report deviations.
- Suggest improvements and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Keep the workplace clean and organized.
Requirements
- Technical degree or bachelor’s in industrial areas (Mechanics, Hydraulics).
- Technical training or certifications in drilling operations preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in similar roles.
- Ability to perform thorough visual inspections.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills, especially in inventory control.
- Flexibility to work shifts and/or overtime as needed.
