One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking a Mail Room Clerk III to work on a 12-month assignment in their facilities in Houston, TX.
Summary:
This role handles receiving, sorting, delivering, and processing all incoming and outgoing mail and light parcels while ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Key Accountabilities
- Provides receipt, safe delivery and processing of mail and light parcels within the assigned facility(ies).
- Sorts incoming/inter-office mail and light parcels for delivery to addressees.
- Processes outgoing parcels, pouch, domestic or international Mails.
- Assures that mail is processed in accordance with relevant governing bodies' regulations & guidelines.
- Works safely at all times.
- Maintains addresses associated to sorting mail/parcels.
- Assures that work station is up-to-date and accurate.
Required and Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experienced level, typically 5-7 years of experience
- Requires a strong understanding of discipline.
- Able to apply knowledge and experience to complex problems and develop recommendations.
- Makes decisions within broad parameters.
- Acts as an informal resource for others with less experience.
