Position Overview
The Maintenance Specialist provides expert-level support for instrumentation and control systems across LNG operations, with a strong focus on measurement. This role serves as a technical authority, leading complex troubleshooting, mentoring team members, and driving reliability improvements. The specialist ensures compliance with industry standards and safety regulations while contributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics for instrumentation and control systems.
- Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and enhance reliability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment history, repairs, and inspections.
- Support procurement and inventory management for maintenance supplies.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians on equipment and process improvements.
- Provide guidance and training to maintenance personnel on best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience required.
- Proven experience in contract interface and management.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Advanced knowledge of control systems architecture and field instrumentation.
