Job Summary
The Engineer is focused on the design, construction, testing, implementation, and optimization of infrastructure systems that enable and support engineering/manufacturing functions. Responsibilities range from providing portions of basic infrastructure systems to leading the design, development, implementation support, and optimization of advanced systems. This role applies specialized knowledge in disciplines such as systems infrastructure, assembly/integration, cross-discipline functions, data engineering, and legacy evolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead teams to provide advanced design, architecture, and diagnostic support
- Design, configure, develop, integrate, and implement network solutions
- Apply expertise in network, server, data center layout, security design, wireless, and telecommunications
- Combine IT knowledge with industry and business function understanding
- Ensure infrastructure systems enable and support business and engineering/manufacturing functions
Basic / Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 8–10 years of experience in infrastructure systems engineering
- Strong understanding of IT systems and industry/business functions
- Expertise in network design, server administration, and data center environments
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
Preferred Certifications
- CCIE (highly preferred)
