Marine Technician – Offshore Operations
Contract, Full time hours.
Location: Offshore West Africa, supporting safe and compliant marine operations on one of the continent’s deepest subsea structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute daily marine operations on FPSO and terminal assets, ensuring safety, compliance, and reliability.
- Monitor plant conditions and perform basic equipment care.
- Supervise cargo bunkering, offloading, and tank entry preparation.
- Maintain full compliance with Control of Work procedures and HSSE standards.
- Support operational planning, vendor coordination, and turnaround activities.
- Identify risks and contribute to continuous improvement and root cause investigations.
Skills:
- Offshore FPSO and hydrocarbon terminal experience
- STCW Deck Officer Certificate of Competency (expired CoCs considered)
- Recent seagoing experience
- Familiarity with Control of Work systems
- ISPS certification/training
Nice-to-Have:
- LNG carrier experience
- Multi-disciplinary marine operations exposure
- Experience with SOPs, MOC, ORA, and process safety compliance
- Strong technology and analytical problem-solving skills
