Marine Terminal Planning and Reporting Lead
Location: Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania
Contract Duration: Until July 31st with a possibility of extension
Rotation: 8 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Planning and Reporting Lead to oversee scheduling, progress measurement, and reporting activities for marine terminal construction. The role involves coordinating with multiple contractors, implementing planning procedures, and supporting decision-making to ensure timely and accurate project execution.
Key responsibilities:
• Implement and enforce H3SE policies and Company Ethics & Code of Conduct.
• Assist Package Manager, Leads, and Delivery Managers on scheduling, progress, and reporting matters.
• Support Contracts Lead in managing changes (schedule impact, extensions, re-baseline).
• Provide inputs for integrated planning and reporting consolidation.
• Implement procedures, tools, and methods for efficient scheduling and progress control.
• Perform schedule analyses and simulations as required.
• Review contractor reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor contractors’ planning activities, execution schedules, and progress measurement; approve progress reports.
• Ensure development of detailed weekly and monthly reports throughout all project phases.
• Consolidate local content man-hours across all marine terminal contracts.
• Gather lessons learned and share feedback with relevant entities.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• 10–20 years of experience in large-scale projects within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Expert knowledge of Primavera.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
