Location: New Roads, Louisiana | Permanent Role

We’re seeking a Measurement Technician II to support safe, accurate, and compliant measurement and control of natural gas systems. In this hands-on field role, you’ll inspect, test, maintain, and troubleshoot measurement, control, and analytical equipment critical to pipeline and facility performance. You’ll work in a safety-focused, regulated environment, supporting reliable gas flow, data integrity, and operational excellence while collaborating closely with operations, engineering, and compliance teams.

Role Overview

  • Perform gas flow and meter calculations to ensure accurate measurement and reporting
  • Test, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of gas meters, including
  • Test, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot pressure?limiting devices
  • Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic control devices and gas analyzers, including:
  • Perform routine odorizer maintenance per SOP, including setting injection rates and reporting odorant usage and concentration
  • Operate and maintain power supply systems supporting measurement and instrumentation
  • Identify pipe, valve, and fitting size and wall thickness using mechanical or electronic measurement tools
  • Ensure electrical installations comply with applicable codes and standards
  • Install small?diameter instrument piping and tubing per specifications
  • Procure materials required for instrumentation and maintenance activities
  • Write, review, and maintain gas handling and operating procedures

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree in a relevant technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of directly relevant training and experience
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of facility maintenance and pipeline operations
  • Proficiency with standard office and reporting software applications
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
