Position Overview
Airswift is seeking a Mechanic I or Mechanic II to support a leading client in the energy sector. This role is essential in maintaining compressor packages, enhancing equipment reliability, and ensuring safe and efficient field operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with maintenance of compressors and related equipment.
- Provide operational feedback on compressor package performance.
- Plan, organize, and execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules.
- Support other field locations and collaborate with fellow mechanics as needed.
- Perform entry-level troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair activities.
Skills and Qualifications
Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in mechanical maintenance and repair procedures.
- Familiarity with compressor systems, including Waukesha, Ariel, and Caterpillar.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Professional Competencies:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective analytical and problem?solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-driven environment.
Education and Experience
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: OEM training, trade school background, or comparable hands?on experience.
- Experience: Minimum of one year in compression processes, equipment maintenance, or production.
