Our client is seeking a Mechanic to work within their facilities located in Coyanosa, TX on a 12-month assignment (with possibility of extension / becoming permanent).
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical duties in compressor stations, ensuring optimal operation.
Troubleshoot mechanical systems and P&IDs to identify and resolve issues.
Maintain and repair various types of compressors including Caterpillar ADEM 4, Ariel, and Sullivan Palatek.
Work with electric drive VRUs, pumps, and other mechanical systems to ensure efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to enhance operational performance and safety.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams.
Familiarity with Caterpillar ADEM 4, Ariel compressors, and Sullivan Palatek air compressors.
Understanding of pump operations and maintenance.
Experience with electric drive VRUs and compressors.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
Relevant mechanical certifications are a plus.
Minimum 3 years in mechanical maintenance, specifically in compressor stations.
