Role Overview

  • Mechanical Design Specialist: Utilize your engineering expertise to design, analyze, and optimize mechanical equipment for FPSO applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.

  • Project Collaborator: Work closely with cross-functional teams to manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that all engineering requirements are met.

  • Technical Advisor: Provide technical support and guidance on mechanical equipment during installation, commissioning, and operation phases.

  • Quality Assurance Advocate: Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, conducting thorough inspections and testing of mechanical systems.

  • Problem Solver: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions to maintain operational efficiency.

  • Documentation Keeper: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of engineering processes, designs, and modifications for future reference.

  • Safety Champion: Promote a culture of safety by adhering to safety protocols and regulations during all engineering activities.

Skills & Qualifications

  • FPSO Expertise: In-depth knowledge and experience with Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) systems and their associated mechanical equipment.

  • Engineering Proficiency: Strong background in mechanical engineering principles, including design, analysis, and materials selection.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex engineering challenges.

  • Technical Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to team members and stakeholders.

  • Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools to ensure timely delivery of engineering projects.

Education & Experience

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly within the oil and gas or marine industries.

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in mechanical engineering or project management are advantageous.
