Airswift is searching for a Mechanical Lead to join our client’s team in the industrial/manufacturing sector. This professional will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing mechanical maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of rotating and static equipment.
- Lead and develop Mechanical Technicians, Welders, and Fabricators.
- Conduct inspections to detect wear, corrosion, and potential failures.
- Perform root cause analyses and implement long-term corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with HSSE standards, engineering procedures, and permit-to-work systems.
- Manage CMMS work orders and mechanical inventory.
- Collaborate on plant modifications and reliability projects.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Engineering (accredited institution).
- 5+ years of engineering experience, including 18+ months in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, rotating/static equipment, and mechanical integrity.
- Proficiency with CMMS and maintenance planning tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
