Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical QC Inspector in Brunsbüttel, Germany, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards in the heavy industrial sector. Role Overview

  • Inspect and monitor all equipment installation, including HVAC systems, fabricated equipment, and safety equipment.
  • Oversee valve installations, architectural fixtures/fittings, and piping flange tightening management.
  • Conduct welding inspections, manage weld procedures, and perform NDT and pressure testing.
  • Adapt to changing deadlines while achieving project goals and milestones.
  • Collaborate with a multi-discipline quality team on Quality, Design, Procurement, Construction, and Completion deliverables.
  • Review and accept final project documentation to support the ITR completions process.
  • Identify and report non-conformances to the Project Quality Lead.
  • Ensure compliance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and manage inconsistencies effectively.
  • Verify construction/completion documentation and red line/as-built drawings during project life cycles.
  • Accept Mechanical Completion of system Punch Lists.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of national and international standards (e.g., BS, EN, ISO, PED, CE/UKCA) related to mechanical disciplines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
  • Good understanding of Quality Management System methods and workflow relationships.
  • Proven experience in construction and completions software.
  • Strong foundation in general business IT systems (e.g., Microsoft Packages).
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum: A degree/HND/HNC qualification in a related discipline.
  • Preferred: Qualification in management system auditing.
  • Recognized apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • International Code Council Inspector (ICC) preferred.
  • API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector preferred.
  • Knowledge of German construction regulations, codes, and standards.
