Role Overview

  • Assist mechanical engineers in the planning and testing of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
  • Help prepare proposals and cost estimates for maintenance work.
  • Actively participate in the use of all on-the-job safety tools.
  • Review job packs and identify any safety issues associated with the job.
  • Execute work as planned and record technical history as required by the workgroup.
  • Provide feedback on job pack improvements to Execution FLS.
  • Request permits and notify Supervisor if permits cannot be issued within 30 minutes of requested time.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Discipline appropriate certification(s) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly describe conditions in the field and recommend remediation steps.
  • Team player with effective teamwork skills, willing to assist others.
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education & Experience

  • Qualifications: Relevant discipline certification(s) or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or related fields.
