A. Job Summary

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) / Medical Expert is responsible for executing Medical Affairs strategy in Taiwan, supporting evidence generation, scientific exchange, and stakeholder engagement aligned with the influenza portfolio.

This role serves as a critical scientific partner to external stakeholders (e.g., KOLs, health authorities) and internal cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality medical input to support policy shaping, clinical adoption, and lifecycle management.

This role reports to the Head of Medical Affairs for Korea and Taiwan.

Maintain close coordination with Medical Affairs counterparts to ensure activities are aligned with overall medical priorities as described in Medical operating plans, strategies, initiatives and projects, as appropriate.

Maintain close collaboration with the Medical and Commercial organization, including Marketing, Market Access, Policy and Government Affairs and other interfacing Seqirus functions. Key contributor to the locally-focussed cross-functional team.

Actively lead, drive, support, engage, contribute and participate to external meetings (e.g. with HCP, such as F2F or Advisory Boards), as well as internal meetings.

Drive, plan and execute medical education programs and initiatives in the landscape relating to Seqirus products.

Contribute to the medical planning for local team projects and activities, and work with medical leadership to develop and implement the Field Medical plan for Seqirus products.

Serve as a project lead and/or support for assigned Medical Affairs projects. Contribute to development and execution of key projects.

The MSL will primarily be responsible for providing approved and accurate medical content on Seqirus’ products/vaccines to HCPs who have local, regional, or national roles in health care provision and/or decision-making.

Maintain effective and appropriate communication and collaboration with Medical Affairs colleagues and Commercial and other business functions.

H. Innovation Extent to which this position identifies, develops and drives improvements or new techniques, and the complexity of the operating environment. I.e. What level of innovation does this role require in terms of output and reach?

Keep abreast of medical and scientific developments in influenza and vaccines by continuously reviewing literature in the field, monitoring competitor activities, networking with experts and attending assigned conferences.

Keep abreast of current and evolving healthcare policies, the potential impact on key customer segments, health economics/outcomes research, and comparative effectiveness research.

Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or related field (MD, PharmD, PhD preferred)

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Medical Affairs, clinical practice, or related healthcare field

Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory environment, and compliance requirements

Experience in vaccines, infectious diseases, or public health is highly preferred

Fluent in Mandarin and English
