Airswift is seeking a Metering Engineer ( onshore , only local candidates) to work at Georgetown- Guyana, on a permanent position with an Oil and Gas Company.

Responsible for supporting the Metering discipline by assisting in the planning and execution of preventive and planned corrective maintenance activities that require onshore involvement. Additionally, provides first-response support to offshore teams during breakdowns and troubleshooting when onshore assistance is needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide onshore support for the planning and execution of planned preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring the timely allocation of resources and effective communication with offshore teams.
Act as the main point of contact onshore for variations and problem resolution, providing immediate technical assistance to the offshore team.
Contribute to annual budget planning by providing information on labor, material, and service needs for maintenance advancement.
Support the effectiveness of process safety barriers, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and recommend technical actions to maintain operations within ALARP (as low as reasonably practicable) levels.
Promote adherence to maintenance policies and the application of lessons learned to improve reliability and performance.
Contribute to the planning and execution of equipment and unit shutdowns or decommissioning as needed.
Ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards by supporting internal audits, identifying deviations, and recommending corrective actions.
Maintain effective communication and relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure alignment with company objectives and client expectations.
Participate in offshore visits, as needed, to support maintenance activities and strengthen cooperation between onshore and offshore teams.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree of Engineering is required.
Fluent English
Advanced Microsoft Office package knowledge is required.
Intermediate CMMS systems knowledge is a competitive edge (SAP preferred).
Basic Power BI knowledge is a competitive edge.
