Subsea Installation Engineer – Rigid Jumpers
Location: Offices based in Puteaux or Montigny-le-Bretonneux, France
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Subsea Installation Engineer with a strong background in rigid jumper systems to join a leading offshore engineering team. This role involves developing and validating installation procedures, leading engineering teams, and supporting offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and validate installation procedures for rigid jumpers, including metrology, lifting, alignment, and connection.
- Lead a team of methods engineers and coordinate with design, fabrication, and offshore teams.
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and installation drawings.
- Provide support during offshore operations, including potential on-site supervision during jumper installation campaigns.
- Ensure all activities comply with project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience in subsea installation engineering, particularly with rigid jumper systems.
- Previous roles as a Methods Engineer or Lead Engineer on offshore/subsea projects.
Language Requirements:
- Fluent English is essential for documentation, coordination, and offshore communication.
Certifications:
- BOSIET + CA-EBS (OPITO certified): Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training with Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System.
- OGUK Medical Fitness Certificate: Required to confirm fitness for offshore work.
