Job Overview
Our client is seeking a Mooring & Hydrodynamics Engineer to support technical design, analysis, and engineering deliverables for floating offshore facilities.
The role provides essential technical support to Lead/Senior Engineers and contributes to safe, robust, and cost?effective mooring and hydrodynamic system designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform engineering calculations, analyses, drawings, and specifications for mooring & hydrodynamics systems.
- Develop design philosophies, basis of design, functional specifications, and scopes of work for subcontracting.
- Deliver engineering tasks according to project schedules and requirements.
- Ensure all designs comply with client standards, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Use relevant software tools to perform technical analyses that meet engineering and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related discipline.
- 3–6 years’ experience in mooring and hydrodynamics engineering for floating offshore facilities.
- Proficiency in mooring and hydrodynamic analysis software (e.g., Orcaflex, Hydrostar, Ariane7, AQWA, etc.).
