Offshore Process Engineer / Field Services Engineer
Location: Offshore – Bay of Bengal
Rotation: 28 days on / 28 days off
Contract: 6 months (potential extension)
Day Rate: USD 450 per offshore day
Exciting Opportunity in Offshore Water Treatment
We are seeking an experienced Offshore Process Engineer to provide operational and technical support for advanced membrane package plants on an FPSO vessel. This role focuses on Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) and Sulphate Removal Package (SRP) systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in a challenging offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site technical support for SWRO and SRP systems.
- Monitor and optimize membrane plant performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process and equipment issues.
- Implement preventive maintenance and cleaning schedules.
- Conduct inspections and prepare performance reports.
- Collaborate with onshore teams for process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Train offshore personnel on system operation and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering (or related field).
- 5+ years offshore oil & gas experience, ideally on FPSO vessels.
- Expertise in water treatment processes, SWRO, and SRP systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Valid offshore safety certifications (BOSIET, HUET).
- Willingness to work offshore rotations (28/28).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multicultural teams.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree or professional engineering certification (PE, CEng).
- Familiarity with industry standards (NORSOK, API, ISO).
