Job Title: Offshore Supervisor (Installation)
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering from an internationally recognized university.
Experience
Minimum 10–15 years of experience in offshore projects, with strong exposure to:
- Subsea pipelines and cables
- Structural installation activities
Experience in a senior position with either:
- A contracting company, or
- As a client representative on offshore marine spreads
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach in dealing with contractors and asset holders.
- Ability to provide constructive support during offshore execution.
- Preferred: Experience as a barge superintendent or client representative in subsea cable lay and burial works.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as a company representative (focal point) for coordinating day-to-day execution of offshore cable lay, burial, and survey activities on contractor marine spreads.
- Work closely with other company representatives to ensure safe execution of offshore works in compliance with company project specifications.
- Ensure all activities are carried out as per approved method statements and maintain proper documentation.
- Supervise and approve offshore activities, including inspections and processing documentation based on approved procedures.
- Prepare and submit daily activity reports, highlighting progress, constraints, and look-ahead plans to company and asset holders as per the approved distribution matrix.
- Coordinate with asset holders to ensure adherence to approved/agreed PTW (Permit to Work) for effective utilization of mobilized marine spreads.
