Skills & Qualifications
- Background in electrical systems diagnostics and preventive measures.
- Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
- Experience in managing budgets related to maintenance and operational activities.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Role Overview
- Perform technical tasks assigned by Project Commissioning and Operation Lead related to pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, test run, training, and operation activities.
- Interface with engineering disciplines, licensors, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Execute design activities relevant to QA and QC Certification, Fire Fighting System response and control, HSE system control, and Integrated Control System development.
- Maintain continuous review of Production Facilities operations.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements in all activities.
- Support during Pre Start-up Safety Reviews (PSSR) meetings and HSE meetings.
- Coordinate root cause analysis investigations and prepare relevant reports for operational issues affecting HSE and production.
- Develop transfer of knowledge and relevant solutions for operational improvements.
- Provide technical coordination of operational issues with Corporate Engineering and Procurement departments.
- Prepare and manage planning for minimum shut down maintenance in collaboration with Asset Maintenance department.
- Coordinate management of change for any modifications made to Production Facilities post-commissioning.
- Provide technical assistance during project bidding and execution phases.
- Ensure smooth transition from commissioning to normal operations activities.
- Review and comment on operating manuals and procedures.
- Participate in design reviews and prepare Purchase Requisitions within own sphere of responsibility.
