Airswift is seeking an Operational Safety Leader to work on an outsourced contract (3 years), in Suriname, with a major Oil & Gas Company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate strong leadership in HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) by establishing high HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment and Quality) standards.
Fulfill the company's responsibilities regarding HSSE (Health, Safety, Environment and Quality), industry best practices and all applicable laws and regulations.
Supervise D&W's (Drilling and Wells) HSSE requirements onshore at the bases.
Ensure that HSE rewards and improvement plans are executed immediately.
Responsible for HSSE campaigns/initiatives, distribution of safety alerts, newsletters, and preparation of the HSSE REX (Polarion).
Ensure compliance with legislation, regulatory requirements, and the company's HSSE framework.
Coordinate quarterly local committee meetings and visits to operational sites (onshore and offshore).
Assist the platform superintendent in controlling platform and service contractor training requirements.
Facilitate risk assessments for well operations, conduct cause tree analysis (CTA), and hold assessment meetings with the D&W entity, platforms, and service contractors.
Manage and execute annual HSEQ-MS audits of platforms/service contractors at the bases.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
The professional will join the GranMorgu drilling and well team starting in the first quarter of 2026 in Paramaribo.
Duration: 3 years
Location: Paramaribo, Suriname
Experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.
Level/Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent and HSSE certification.
Languages: English required.
