Airswift is looking for an Operations Supervisor to work on a permanent contract in Paramaribo – Suriname with a logistics and equipment rental company for the oil and gas industry.
Experienced Operations Supervisor to lead and coordinate operational activities supporting oil and gas projects. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of equipment and rental services to meet client requirements, in compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee day-to-day operations for equipment rentals and services supporting drilling, completions, and production activities.
Plan and manage mobilization/demobilization of equipment to offshore and onshore locations.
Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards, Suriname regulatory requirements, and client-specific procedures.
Coordinate logistics, including transportation, yard management, and inventory control.
Monitor equipment maintenance schedules and readiness for deployment.
Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure operational excellence and timely execution.
Prepare operational reports, including job progress, resource utilization, and cost tracking.
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
Train and mentor operational staff to maintain high performance and safety culture.
Support emergency response and incident management as required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Professional with experience in operations in the oil and gas sector (preferably in rental services or drilling support).
Solid knowledge of offshore and onshore logistics and equipment handling.
Familiarity with local regulations in Suriname and international standards.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational management tools.
Technical training or certification in operations management is a plus.
