Painting & Insulation Engineer
Join our dynamic team as a Painting Insulation Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in the energy sector, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of insulation and painting systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects in Nanterre, France, with a focus on delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Role Overview
Develop Painting Specifications and Insulation Specifications.
Review Vendor Documents: Painting Procedure, FQCP, ITP.
Perform Material Take Off Activities of painting and insulation systems applicable to piping.
Clarify with Process discipline design and operating conditions to confirm selection of applicable painting & insulation systems.
Manage interfaces with Engineering Disciplines and QCS to address Vendor Queries & Deviation requests.
Participate in meetings with Clients and Partners.
Produce quality deliverables.
Report on activities performed on a weekly basis to the Materials & Welding Lead on the assigned Project.
Skills & Qualifications
Fluent in English.
Strong knowledge of insulation techniques and painting processes.
Good knowledge of applicable codes & standards related to painting and insulation.
Self-managing, dynamic, and responsive.
Excellent teamwork and inter-personal skills.
Education & Experience
MSc Degree in Materials Engineering or Chemistry.
5 - 10 years’ experience in engineering or site activities in the painting & insulation field.
