Payroll Specialist – Perth (Airswift | Woodside Energy)

Join a global payroll team supporting one of Australia’s leading energy companies.

Airswift is proud to be partnering with Woodside Energy to source x2 experienced Payroll Specialist's for their high?performing team based at the Perth head office. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a global payroll function that supports employees across five continents.

You’ll join a cohesive, supportive team of payroll professionals who take pride in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services at scale.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring Woodside employees are paid accurately and on schedule. You’ll handle a variety of payroll activities, support monthly processing cycles, and help maintain the integrity of payroll data across a complex global workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process day?to?day payroll transactions, ensuring accuracy and data integrity
  • Deliver payroll activities in line with monthly timetables, internal policies, and legislative requirements
  • Support end?to?end payroll processes, including terminations, superannuation reconciliation, and STP reporting
  • Investigate and resolve payroll queries, escalating to the Payroll Lead when required
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high?performing team environment

Experience in the following areas will be highly regarded (but not essential):

  • Payroll reconciliations
  • Complex calculations (e.g., over/under payments)
  • Superannuation calculations

Skills & Experience

We are seeking a payroll professional with demonstrated experience running end?to?end payroll. You will also bring:

  • Experience with SAP or EC/ECP (highly desirable)
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
  • High attention to confidentiality and accuracy
  • Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Confidence working independently and taking ownership of outcomes
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Solid analytical and problem?solving abilities
