Our client is seeking a Payroll Tax Analyst to work within their facilities located in The Woodlands, Texas for a 6-month assignment.
Main Responsibilities:
Utilize ADP Client for tax filings and reconciliations.
Perform payroll general ledger account reconciliation.
Create and run necessary reports from respective payroll systems to reconcile payroll taxes and general ledger accounts.
Run reports out of Workday HRIS to ensure employee tax set-ups are correct.
Utilize vendors' tax account application systems and, in some cases, set up accounts directly with the respective agency.
Ensure all applied-for accounts are updated with the correct tax ID.
Conduct quarterly and annual payroll tax reconciliations.
Ensure amendments are filed timely.
Collaborate with the finance department to ensure general ledger accounts reconcile.
Set-up and maintain organized tax files for each jurisdiction.
Process, track, and ensure proper resolution of all payroll tax notices received.
Reports to Payroll and Benefits Manager.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in Payroll, Finance.
Must have strong written and oral communication skills
Must be able to communicate with internal customers and with vendors to ensure proper resolution of issues.
Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
