Petroleum & Corporate Solutions Performance Specialist

Application Portfolio Management
- Manage and govern a portfolio of 200+ applications across petroleum, subsurface, engineering, operations, and corporate functions.
- Maintain the application portfolio/CMDB, conduct regular portfolio reviews, and ensure all records remain up to date.
- Identify opportunities for application optimization, consolidation, rationalization, and retirement.
- Collaborate with cross?functional business partners to define portfolio strategy and roadmap.
- Monitor industry best practices and integrate improvements into portfolio governance.
License Management
- Lead and guide license managers to execute best?practice license optimization strategies.
- Conduct regular license usage reviews and identify cost?saving opportunities.
- Track renewal and expiry dates for licenses and related contracts.
- Oversee optimization tools, license servers, and core servers to ensure compliance and performance.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost?efficiency initiatives.
Application Performance & Availability
- Monitor and analyze application performance and availability.
- Identify underutilized applications and recurring technical issues.
- Support performance enhancement initiatives across all supported domains.
Governance & Frameworks
- Serve as custodian of the Petroleum & Corporate Solutions License Management Framework.
- Maintain SOPs, service catalogue, interface visuals, and technical documentation.
- Ensure adherence to governance controls and promote best practices across teams and users.
Technical Expertise
- Act as SME for license management tools and server environments.
- Manage upgrades of license management tools and servers.
- Configure dashboards and data sets for usage analytics.
- Provide Level 3 technical support as required.
Vendor & Procurement Engagement
- Liaise with external vendors regarding applications and licensing.
- Support procurement cycles including renewals, usage assessments, and approval gates.
Digital Landscape Management
- Maintain up?to?date digital architecture documentation, dependencies, integrations, and interfaces.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of the application landscape across petroleum and corporate domains.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Interaction
- Work closely with internal digital teams such as Infrastructure, InfoSec, Support, Data Management, and the Change Advisory Board.
- Lead and mentor license managers.
- Coordinate with surface, subsurface, and corporate business leads.
Cybersecurity Compliance
- Ensure applications comply with security policies and standards.
- Support vulnerability mitigation, end?of?life planning, and password management.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- 5+ years of experience in application portfolio management.
- Strong knowledge of license optimization tools and management processes.
- Experience in petroleum and corporate applications governance and performance oversight.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non?technical stakeholders.
- Strong planning, coordination, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
