Job Responsibilities:
Design, plan, and provide engineering execution support to wellwork operations post-completion, inclusive of remedial workovers and plug and abandonment scope
Liaise with Production Engineering to provide cost & scope for opportunity evaluation
Develop procedures and provide design input to artificial lift systems
Interface with Operations for rig scheduling, execution support, and troubleshooting
Liaise with specialist contractors & suppliers for cost and equipment readiness
Monitor daily progress of wellwork operations, track daily costs, and recommend cost-effective changes where necessary; travel to company designated sites when necessary
Support wellwork spend forecasting and budget preparation
Track, analyze, and continually improve wellwork execution efficiency; manage contractor performance; steward Wellview data quality
Qualification:
Bachelor of Science from accredited university in engineering required
Minimum of 5 years O&G experience; 3+ yrs direct wellwork experience (Permian preferred)
Must be self-motivated and capable of integrating within multi-discipline teams
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be willing to travel to well locations to oversee operations when necessary
Proficient in MS Office suite (excel, word, powerpoint) and Wellview; Spotfire, PowerBI, or other analytics exposure preferred
Additional Details:
We have a strong preference for candidates with direct experience working for an Operator (e.g., PNR, EOG, OXY, Diamondback, Endeavor, Permian) rather than service company experience (e.g., Halliburton, SLB, Baker, ProPetro). Additionally, we are specifically looking for individuals with hands-on wellwork experience in the workover and completions space, rather than drilling or frac.
