PIPING MATERIAL SPECIALIST

We are seeking a Piping Material Specialist or Lead Assistant to join a technical team on a freelance basis. The role involves supporting piping material activities and ensuring compliance with relevant norms and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain summaries of piping classes
- Manage equipment specifications and quantities
- Analyse industrial valves, equipment, and piping accessories
- Draft technical clarifications and TBTs with suppliers
- Review P&IDs and supplier offers
- Interpret customer specifications and plot plans
- Support MTO activities
Requirements:
- Proven experience in piping materials
- Proficiency in English & French
- Familiarity with Pack Office and SmartPlant Material
- Knowledge of American standards (ASME B31.3, ASTM, API)
- Knowledge of European standards (EN 15480-3, CODETI, PED, EN...)
